THE MIRACLE OF FATIMA SUN:
Returning to this unique event over a period of 153 days.
From July 13, 1917, Lucia and Jacinta had announced to those around them that the Lady had promised them a miracle for October 13 at noon. The two cousins repeated the same statement many times and never vary even under threats and persecution inflicted upon them unbelievers.
These tests, recalled, were terrifying for children of ten, nine and seven years.
But on the appointed day, at the appointed hour, about seventy thousand people witnessed a miracle: the sun
danced, whirled, and seemed to fall on the earth, which had never been seen since that the world began.
This prophecy was fulfilled to the letter, therefore, this miracle, which all saw to believe, was in itself a striking proof of the veracity of the apparitions and the sincerity of the three little shepherds.
